All work at PBDD is done by volunteers. To donate, please click on the checkbook, or the PayPal icon below.

Partners Bridging the Digital Divide, Inc. has been recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a tax-exempt public charity under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and is registered with the Illinois Attorney General to solicit charitable contributions in the State of Illinois.  Partners Bridging the Digital Divide, Inc. has not registered to solicit charitable contributions in any state other than the State of Illinois.

If you’d like to donate, we can use help to cover operating costs (mainly web hosting), attending relevant conferences and other expenses. Note, we do not directly provide computers to those in need, so any donations will not go for that. We are a nonprofit with 501(c) (3) status so your donation is tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. We accept checks or PayPal (including credit cards.)

  • suggestions of Partner Agencies to contact (Refurbishing, Training, and New Initiatives)
  • website testers, to ensure that our website is clear and useful
  • Specific tasks as outlined at: http://pbdd.org/volunteering_time/

If you are looking to donate a computer, or your time and expertise to such enterprises, you can look through the Microsoft Registered Refurbishers directory, organized by state, or check out the Equipment page, some of the companies listed by location accept donations.
